The Secret Life of Walter Smitty: A movie about a man with ADHD
From the second-or-third time I saw the teaser trailer for The Secret Life of Walter Smitty I could tell the movie deals with someone who has ADHD. How can I tell? I suffer from that disorder myself, and up until last summer I started to take medication. Since then I've been able to focus on what I REALLY need to do, instead of zoning out/spacing out!
Seems like this movie is the first time Hollywood is making a movie about someone who zones out, sees things when in fact there is nothing there- Basically imagining stuff! (Forget that it's a remake of a 40s movie!)
On Friday I saw the latest theatrical trailer twice. I can now tell that the main character, Walter, likes a pretty coworker, played by Kristin Wiig. Like Walter, I also had a crush on a classmate. However, my story happened when I was in Kindergarten. I think it was a year after I had been in a 21-day coma. So in a way, how did I know how to tell her I liked her? Hence I suffer from neurology (hypermobility) and ADD!
