The Dark Knight Rises Vs. Mortal Kombat Theme

When was the last time you saw a movie, but remembered the theme music from another movie during one scene? 

I started test-driving Adderall towards the end July last year. Before that I would zone out of certain things I was doing if I didn't understand what the teacher was saying- This was before I had been diagnosed with ADD.

The day I bought my first bag of Adderall pills was the day I had planned to go see The Dark Knight Rises, which a cousin had told me was the bomb! Prior to that, I had become temporarily disinterested in going to see movies, not to mention that I used to be a big Batman fan.
I should've brought a bottle with me because I had forgotten the Adderall either at home or in my car. 

My ADD took effect during the first scene Batman fights Bane and eventually loses. During that scene, the theme from the movie Mortal Kombat started to play in my head. How. Crazy. Was.That? (Two franchises uniting!)

The next time I saw my cousin, he asked me what I thought about the movie? 
"I thought they should've played the theme from Mortal Komat during the scene when Batman faces off against Bane!"
When I told it to a friend from high school, he said it was hard to visualize since they are two separate franchises.
