Amazing Pain

Yesterday seemed like a regular day at the office(work). I was driven to the E.R. at Kaiser Permanente after I accidentally sliced my left thumb while cutting the last box in the garage. Actually, I forgot to inhale before taking action (ADD). Many  drops of my blood hit the floor. I think a person who gets squeamish at seeing blood, would have reacted with panic. I, however, remained calm throughout the whole thing.
Curiosity killed the cat, but I would've been left wondering what is going on here!
Consciously, this was my first time at the E.R. where a nurse suggested that maybe putting glue on my thumb would stop the bleeding.
What??? You guys use glue for cuts?
I took a little nap as I waited for the doctor to arrive; I relaxed. Plus I was thirsty.
A lot on my mind!
The male nurse prepared my thumb for surgery by washing it with saline. I watched as the blood flooded onto the small bucket from my thumb. I thought it was stunning to see a lot of blood that I hadn't breathed in a while.
After that, my thumb was numbed, and sown, which to me was regular- I have a high tolerance for pain! Pain is part of life. It's how you deal with it that makes you stronger.
Do what you need to do so I can get back to my regular schedule.
AMAZING! Glue on my knuckle.
Lastly, another male nurse noticed a minor cut on my left pointer-finger-knuckle and put glue on it.
I wonder if they sell glue at Walgreens for the next time I scrape my knee/elbow while biking?
My dad picked me up from the hospital after 12 in my car and told me I had to go home.
